Youth Week 2020

Youth Week is an opportunity for young people to express their ideas and views, act on issues that affect their lives, and create and enjoy activities and events.
2020 Youth Week will run from April 1 to 9 with the theme: Speak up. Be involved. Get connected. Have fun.

Tuesday 7 April 4:30pm Ask me anything with the experts - Session 3 Join Charlie from Tathra Collective as she goes LIVE on our Facebook page with a yoga and meditation routine! Charlie will also be able to answer any questions you have about holistic wellbeing and physical exercise!

Thursday 9 April 7pm Youthie Online Movie Night with Netflix Party You will need to have a Netflix account and have downloaded the Netflix Party extension to join our online movie night. We will share the link to join our online movie night during the day on Thursday. Once you have a Netflix account and the Netflix Party extension you will be able to click the link provided and join our online movie night!

The 9 images that best reflect the 2020 Youth Week theme will be named the winners and receive a $50 gift voucher each to a local store.

Competition open to those aged between 12 and 24 who live in the Tamworth region. 

Youth Week Short Stories Compilation

Submit a short story that reflects the 2020 Youth Week theme “Speak Up. Be Involved. Get Connected. Have fun.”
Stories must be no longer than 1,000 words and must be submitted via the online form below.
Every story submitted will be included in an online publication which will be released following Youth Week.
