Information required to lodge a DA
All Development Applications (DAs) submitted must be accompanied by supporting documentation for assessment and determination. Exempt Developments and Complying Developments are exempt from this requirement.
Schedule 1 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 specifies the minimum documentation to accompany a DA.
Council’s Documentation Checklist for Development Applications (PDF 303.3KB) matrix outlines specific information required for particular development proposals.
All DAs (except for Fast Track Applications) require a Statement of Environmental Effects. Council’s Statement of Environmental Effects for Minor Developments Form (DOCX 74.3KB) can be submitted for certain minor developments.
Council's Development and Approvals Division is now paper free. Please only submit one electronic copy of all required documentation with your DA with lodging your application on the NSW Planning Portal.
If a proposed land use is not listed in the matrix or you require clarification please contact Council’s Development and Approvals Division by phoning (02) 6767 5507.
