Manilla and Barraba will see some upgrades to water and wastewater infrastructure in the coming months after tenders were awarded to complete water main and sewer pump works in the two communities.
In Manilla, the watermain along Progress Lane will be replaced as part of Council’s Water Asset Renewal Program. Council plans to replace water mains in Alexander Lane in 2026.
In Barraba, the Cooper Street Sewer Pump Station will see significant works to ensure improved operations and site safety.
