The Inaugural Tamworth Bush Ballad Awards were presented during 'Hats Off to Country' at Tamworth Town Hall on 12 July. The event honoured the finest in bush ballad music across seven categories.
Two local artists were among the winners, including Anthony Baxter - Instrumental of the Year for his song The Jumping Jackacroo and Lynette Guest, named Female Artist of the Year.
The Awards celebrate the rich legacy of traditional Australian country music and those keeping the genre alive.
