There’s now a convenient way to manage your Council rates, including your water bill.
By opting to receive your rates notices online, you can have them delivered straight to your inbox, which means no more waiting for the mail or searching for misplaced papers!
It’s quick, secure, and better for the environment.
It's also easy to keep track of what and when you've paid online, or to download your notices for your records.
You can choose to receive your rates directly through the Payreq app. This easy-to-use option allows you to view your notices instantly and make credit card payments in just a few taps, helping you stay organised and up to date.
Council recently issued the second quarter rates instalment notices in late October, along with the first quarter water rates. If you haven’t seen yours yet, now is the time to check your email or Payreq app, or to make the digital switch if you still receive paper notices.
A friendly reminder, overdue notices are sent through Council’s external agent in line with our debt recovery process. To avoid additional charges or notices, keep an eye on due dates and make payments promptly.
If you’re experiencing financial difficulties, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Council’s Ratepayers Hardship Policy exists to support residents who may need extra time or flexibility with payments. Our customer service team is available to discuss your situation confidentially and help find the best option for you. Learn more at www.tamworth.nsw.gov.au/difficultypaying.
