Are you an emerging country music artist and want to take your career to the next level? Now is your chance to take a leap and enter the nation's longest running and most prestigious country music talent search.
Toyota Star Maker entries are now open and close on 1 September 2025. The competition attracts entrants from all over Australia and New Zealand, with the winner crowned right here in Tamworth in January.
The top ten finalists will battle it out at the Grand Final concert during the Toyota 54th Tamworth Country Music Festival. The winner will join an impressive suite of alumni including Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan, James Blundell, Travis Collins, Gina Jeffreys, Beccy Cole, Lyn Bowtell, Kirsty Lee Akers, Samantha McClymont, Blake O’Connor, Kaylee Bell, Max Jackson and Wade Forster.
The winner takes home a prize package valued at over $100k, including a fully serviced Toyota motor vehicle with fuel card, a four-track EP, a return trip to Nashville courtesy of Chris Watson Travel, instruments from Maton and Fender and products from Jands.
Toyota Star Maker Manager, Cheryl Brown says the competition is a transformative opportunity.
“Star Maker is a launch pad, designed for individuals who’ve already begun their journey as a country music artist, and who are ready for a long and successful career in the music business."
