Road users will be happy to hear the Carthage Street rehabilitation project is continuing, with works progressing to a new section.
Making the most of school holidays, crews started works on the Hill to Roderick Street block from September 22 for six weeks.
Works include potholing to confirm the location of services and updating stormwater infrastructure. Footpaths on both sides of the block will also be renewed and new pram ramps installed to align with the updated location of a pedestrian crossing.
The project is funded by Council’s Water Reserve and Asset Renewal Reserve.
