Works to replace century-old watermains along Manilla's Progress Lane have been completed in recent weeks, with more improvements in the pipeline.
Replacement work started in May as part of Council's Strategic Asset Renewal Program, and has improved pipes and connections, as well as maintenance costs into the future.
Following the pipe replacement, trench restoration has reinstated the road to the standard it was before construction.
In 2026, work will progress to Alexander Lane in Manilla, where a further $900,000 will be invested to upgrade the assets and improve water quality for locals.
