Changed Traffic Conditions - Valley Drive, East Tamworth

Road users are advised that Valley Drive, East Tamworth will be closed between Beattie Boulevard and Prentice Avenue to all traffic from 7am Friday 24 February for a three week period.

Road users are advised to use the detour via Beattie Boulevard, Woodburn Way and Prentice Avenue.

Continual wet weather in the latter half of 2022 caused an underground spring to surface and damage the road pavement, which now requires urgent repairs.

Local residents within the workzone will have driveway access during this period, however there will be periods where specific driveways become inaccessible for a short time due to the nature of the works. To minimise disruption, Council staff will advise residents of access changes ahead of time as each stage of the works progress.
