Youth Week 2021

16-24 April 2021 - 'Together more than ever'

Youth Week in NSW is funded by the NSW Government and is designed to help communities shine a light on young people and youth issues.  It is an opportunity for young people (12-25 years) to participate in events, have their voices heard on issues important to them and to showcase their talents.  For more information on Youth Week, please refer to the Youth Week NSW website.

Local governments are responsible for coordinating activities throughout their communities.  This year's theme for Youth Week is 'Together more than ever' and TRC in collaboration with the Tamworth Regional Youth Council have been working hard to plan events that can bring young people from our region together to have fun through a range of safe and inclusive events.

Youth Week Shuttle Bus Service

The Youth Week Shuttle Bus Service aims to ensure all young people in the Tamworth region have the opportunity to attend 2021 Youth Week events.  There will be a driver plus one (1) Youthie staff member on all shuttle bus services.  All staff hold a valid Working with Children Check clearance.

Young people and parent/guardian will be required to book in for the service online.  A TRC staff member will call the parent/guardian to verify that permission has been granted.  Once permission has been verified, young people will be provided with a Youthie Shuttle Bus Pass that they can use for Youth Week and future Youthie activities (provided permission has been granted).
