Tamworth Powerstation Museum
- Extended opening hours from the 13th until the 22nd of January open every day during this period 10am till 4pm – Adult $5 entry and Concession $2 entry
- Steam Engines running on the 19th, 20th and 21st of January from 10am till 4pm – gold coin donation
- Outside of the above the Museum is open 9am till 1pm Wednesday till Saturday

Australian Country Music Hall of Fame
- Extended opening hours from the 13th till the 22nd of January open every day during this period 10am till 5pm – Adult $10 concession $7 and kids under 12 for free

Make a night scape with Kate

Workout with Blake - Animal & Tabata
Animal workout - ages 5 to 12
Based on animal movements including a bear, inch worm and spider, this workout is a great way to get your body moving and have fun with Tamworth Sports Dome Program Officer, Blake Mammarella!
Tabata Workout - ages 12 to 18
Join Tamworth Sports Dome Program Officer, Blake Mammarella for this Tabata workout, combining 20 seconds of exercises and 10 seconds of rest. But don't be fooled, this workout will get you hot and sweaty!
Coding with Julian
Join Tamworth Regional Council's Makerspace & Digital Learning Programs Coordinator Julian Mann for Part One of this video tutorial which shows you how to use the Makecode website (https://makecode.microbit.org) to program a virtual Micro:bit from within your browser. The Micro:bit is a pocket sized computer with built-in LED screen, compass, accelerometer, temperature sensor and buttons. It is an excellent tool to learn electronics and coding. Best suited to ages 8-14.
Make a t-shirt bag with Kate
Using an old t-shirt, make your very own reusable bag with Tamworth Regional Gallery Education Officer, Kate Armstrong. This is a no sewing technique that allows you to use that old t-shirt you loved but grew out of!
You'll need:

Coding with Julian - Decisions and Loops
Join Tamworth Regional Council's Makerspace & Digital Learning Programs Coordinator Julian Mann for Part Two in the video tutorial on coding with the program Micro:bit. This lesson is on 'Decisions and Loops'.

Join local artist Danny Stanley for a 101 in cartooning! All you need is a piece of paper and a pen, texta or pencil!
This activity can be enjoyed by all members of the family but is best suited for ages 7+.

Homes can use a lot of water and often water is wasted without our knowledge. Students like you can help to see if your home is water efficient and where fixes and savings can be made by doing the Water Efficiency Audit for your home.

Fun interactive science based workshops for primary aged children to keep them busy over the school holidays. Best suited to ages 6-16.

A new video will be released every weekday on the Tamworth City Library Facebook page in the school holidays starting Tuesday 14 April. Activities will include Escaping Water, Jumping Marbles, Chromatography (Separating Colours), Hanging Arch, Lava Lamp, Catapult, Colour changing milk, Hi-Tech Claw and Bicarb fun!
These tutorials are coordinated by Central Northern Regional Library (CNRL).
