In some instances, Council can waive venue hire and related charges for non-profit local community organisations. This assistance is provided through the Request for Donation by Waiving of Fees Policy.
Under this policy, community organisations can apply for a one-off exemption of Council fees up to a maximum of $500 per year. All applicants should ensure that their group or organisation meet the Waiving of Fees criteria as outlined on page 33 of Tamworth Regional Council’s General Policy Register (PDF 3.5MB) before submitting their application to Council.
