Wallamore Road - Single Lane and Heavy Vehicle Detour between Goddard and Bowlers Lanes

Wallamore Road is currently reduced to one lane at the culvert near Goodard Lane. The lane change is anticipated to be in place over the next 12 months and until the culvert is able to be replaced.

6 August, 2025 - Heavy Vehicle changes:

Following a report on culverts along creeks on Wallamore road it was determined the structural integrity of three culverts is no longer suitable for heavy vehicles.

Load limits will be in place for these culverts effective immediately and include: 

- Single axle – 6 tonnes
- Dual axle – 9 tonnes
- Tri-axle – 13.5 tonnes
Detour signage is currently in place to use alternate routes, including Bowlers Lane, Oxley Highway and Goddard Lane – see the below image.

This detour is expected to remain in place for at least 12 months and until the culverts can be replaced.
