Road Status - East Tamworth - 27 and 28 September

A number of streets in East Tamworth be impacted by closures as the local Rural Fire Service (RFS) undertake a Hazard Reduction Burn on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September, 2025.

Endeavour Drive to Marsupial Park – Closed to all pedestrians and vehicles for the entirety of the burn
Scenic Road to Oxley Lookout – Closed to all pedestrians and vehicles for the entirety of the burn

Fitzroy Street – Local Residents access only above Raglan Street
Hill Street – Local Residents access only above Raglan Street
White Street – Local Residents access only above Raglan Street
Nurraba Street – Local Residents access only from Carinya Street (east)
Carinya Street – Local Residents access only

These closures will be in effect from 7am Saturday 27 September until the RFS grants approvals to reopen each impacted section throughout the weekend.
