Notice of public exhibition - Draft Social Media Policy

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking feedback from the community about its draft social media policy.

Tamworth Regional Council has developed a draft policy guided by the Office of Local Government’s model social media policy which outlines best practice from social media policies of a diverse range of NSW councils, as well as from Commonwealth and State Government agencies.

The draft policy will be on public exhibition for community feedback for a 28-day period, commencing from Thursday 8 May, 2025 to Thursday 5 June, 2025 at 5pm. Adoption of the policy will be considered by Councillors at a Council meeting later in 2025.

Feedback can be submitted online through the MyTRC Online Community There is a copy of the draft policy published on the page. A copy of the draft policy can also be accessed here (PDF 247.3KB).

Alternatively, feedback can also be submitted by sending an email to trc@tamworth.nsw.gov.au before Thursday 6 June, 2025 at 5pm.
