Notice of public exhibition - Annual Operational Plan and Budget 2025-26

Council’s Draft Integrated Planning and Reporting 2025-2026 documents are on public exhibition from Thursday 15 May 2025 to Thursday 12, June 2025 to seek community input and feedback.

The State Government requires all Councils to prepare the documents which include the Operational Plan and Budget 2025-2026, Delivery Program 2025-2029, Resourcing Strategy 2025-2036 and Draft Fees and Charges 2025-2026.

We have published the documents on our Have Your Say page. There is also an easy-to-use form to share your feedback.

The documents are important because they outline the services and projects Council will deliver in the next financial year along with information about managing community assets, long term financial planning and workforce planning.

They include the Ordinary Rate Policy for 2025-26 which includes a rate increase of 15% from the current year.  This is the second and final increase of the IPART-approved Special Rate Variation (inclusive of the 3.8% rate peg).

All feedback received will be considered by Councillors at an Extraordinary Meeting on 30 June 2025 before voting on whether to adopt the documents.
