E010-2027 – Expression of Interest – Marketing and Sales Agent for Ray Walsh House – 437 Peel Street, Tamworth

Council is seeking to appoint a real estate agent in relation to the sale of “Ray Walsh House”, 437 Peel Street, Tamworth.

Council invites Interested Parties to submit an Expression of Interest to advertise and sell the Council owned property known as “Ray Walsh House”, being 437 Peel Street, Tamworth which includes the following Lots:
a) Lot 14 in Deposited Plan 253033;
b) Lot 12 in Deposited Plan 253033;
c) Lot 11 in Deposited Plan 253033; and
d) Lots 6 Section 4 in Deposited Plan 758951.

Council may consider the inclusion of the adjoining carpark, being Lot 2 in Deposited Plan 218787, as part of any future disposal strategy. Interested Parties are requested to provide advice regarding whether the carpark should be marketed separately or in conjunction with the main property.

Council may decide to appoint a single real estate agency under an exclusive agency agreement or appoint multiple agents under non-exclusive agency agreements. Council may elect not to appoint any agent as a result of this request for expression of interest process.

Interested Parties should review the asset and provide recommendations regarding the preferred method of sale. Council will determine the sale method prior to commencement of the marketing campaign.
