Changed traffic conditions - Queen Street, Barraba
Thursday 10 September, 2020
Drivers who regularly use Queen Street in Barraba can expect minor traffic delays between Rodney and Range street from Wednesday (16 September, 2020) while road improvements take place.
The works are expected to be completed in four to six weeks time.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane along Queen Street and a team of traffic controllers will be on site to manage the flow of vehicles while work is taking place between 7am and 5pm on weekdays.
Access to Queen Street from Cooper Street, Cambridge Street, Railway Street and Askin Avenue will not be allowed while work is taking place.
A detour has been identified around the work site through Range and Rodney street. Residents along Queen Street will have access to their properties at all times.
Drivers are asked to take extra care, reduce their speed and obey construction signage in the area. Council has been contracted by Transport for NSW to complete these works.
