Applying for a vehicle access permit

If you require access to closed roads during the road closure period, you must apply for and be allocated a permit to enter the closed roads.

A permit allows you to access closed roads at restricted times and via identified entry points. This is NOT an application for a parking permit.

Applications will be assessed on a case by case basis and the applicable permit will be granted subject to its conditions being met at all times by the applicant. Security staff will be located at each entry point into the road closure 24 hours a day to check for appropriate permits.

Failure to comply with permit conditions may result in infringements being issued. Successful applicants not complying with conditions will have their permits revoked.
