During the Tamworth Country Music Festival temporary itinerant market stalls operate along Peel Street.
These stalls are located, for the most part, on the road against the kerb and must be set up and packed down each day as there is no security on site overnight.
With the exception of existing businesses, stalls in Peel Street must be non-commercial. There is a separate application form for commercial stalls.
(all fees are inclusive of GST)
This application is for artists wishing to operate a stall in Peel Street during the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Items sold at the stall must be bespoke and made by the artist on site. The sale of commercially produced items will not be permitted. Artists are welcome to sell some items that have been made prior to the festival provided all items are hand made by the artist and additional items are made on site each day of the festival.
The organisation applying for a stall at the Tamworth Country Music Festival must be established in the Tamworth Local Government Area (LGA) or include the Tamworth region in its catchment. Any proposed activity at the Tamworth Country Music Festival must also provide direct benefit to the Tamworth region and its community.

Only items normally sold within the existing business can be sold from a Peel Street stall during the festival.
