Tamworth Regional Council and Battery World Tamworth are pleased to announce that the schools dry cell battery recycling program is currently running again during the 2012 school year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for your school to get involved with an awesome environmental initiative that removes a hazardous waste from landfill.
How does the program work? It’s simple! All your school has to do is have a collection bin located at your school where students and teachers can bring in old used dry cell batteries ready to be collected by Battery World Tamworth. But make sure that it is ok with mum or dad first!
