It is customarily inside the home that we think and relate recycling to firstly. Today so many products have a variety of packaging and wrappings that we are left to dispose of. Recycling is an easy and environmental way of doing this.
Within the Tamworth Regional Council area there are two ways you can recycle your everyday household containers and packaging. Either through a kerbside collection or a direct drop off at one of Council’s landfill sites.

It is really important to please remember don't bag your recycling. Bagging your recycling may cause damage to the machines at the recycling centre and could end up in the landfill.
Although starting inside the home is fantastic, it is now time to look beyond the traditional household items that can be recycled and divert a wider variety of materials away from burial in the landfill. Besides your home, think about what can be done in your school, office or recreational activites to become more eco friendly.
