Tamworth Regional Council is proud to be part of Australia’s biggest community and sustainability event, Garage Sale Trail.
Taking place on October 19 & 20, this jam-packed weekend is a great way to declutter, earn some money and meet locals in your area!
Households, schools, community groups and individuals are invited to host a sale or shop the Trail; joining over 400,000 Australians in this nationwide movement.
This will be the fourth year residents in the Tamworth Regional Council area will be able to be part of this people movement initiative and Garage Sale Trail expects 2019 to be its biggest event yet. What is Garage Sale Trail?
Garage Sale Trail is Australia's biggest weekend of garage sales. Taking place over one weekend in October, the event enables residents to find a new home for their pre-loved items, make a little pocket money and get to know their neighbours.
Our Council is one of 140 Councils participating in the event across Australia. The program helps to reduce waste, encourage reuse and build a stronger sense of community. In 2019, it is anticipated over 400,000 Australians will get involved at over 15,000 garage sale events.
Who is it for?
Garage Sale Trail is for everybody! Participants include:
