Various areas in the Tamworth Regional Council area will have access to a twice a year bulky household goods collection. Items can be placed on the nature strip area in front of your property on the night before the collection. Collection is the same day as your garbage collection.
These collections will be conducted in June and November each year. Dates are advertised in the Northern Daily Leader Council News Section prior to collections.
Residents receiving the service are asked to put out all items the night before your normal Garbage Collection. Everyone is urged to ensure materials are placed in a safe location on the kerbside that will not restrict footpaths or access, and where they can be safely and easily removed by the contractor.
