Road works on Werris Creek Road, Duri

Tamworth Regional Council will be carrying out the rehabilitation works at segment 25 of Werris Creek Road 21km south of the intersection of Gunnedah Road and Werris Creek Road.

These works are programmed to commence on Monday 27 February 2012, weather permitting and subject to availability of specialist contractors.  It is expected that the work will take about four weeks to complete.

The work will involve activities such as rehabilitation of the existing road surface and add additional road base.  Traffic may experience small delays as traffic lights will be in place to reduce the traffic flow to one lane only, Council apologies for the delays.
