2012 JAYCO Tamworth Country Music Festival Community Debrief
Friday 17 February 2012
Tamworth Regional Council would like to extend an open invitation to all interested members of the Tamworth community, along with local businesses and Festival stakeholders, to attend the 2012 Jayco Tamworth Country Music Festival community debrief.
Chaired by the Mayor, Cr Col Murray, the 2012 Jayco Tamworth Country Music Festival debrief will be held at the Tamworth Community Centre (corner of Peel and Darling Streets, Tamworth) on Wednesday, 29 February commencing at 6pm.
With an array of new initiatives implemented for the 40th Anniversary of the 2012 Tamworth Country Music Festival, support and feedback from the Tamworth community is essential in providing a strong foundation for the Festival’s future. The Festival debrief is an opportunity to share experiences, thoughts and suggestions in a friendly environment, and an opportunity for Tamworth Regional Council to thank the community for their ongoing support.
A post-festival debrief is held every year and is a necessary opportunity for the public to raise concerns, offer suggestions or simply to be informed by organisers of any findings or reports. It is a great opportunity for all Tamworth locals to be a part of the yearly celebrations, and contribute to this iconic Tamworth event.
The 2012 Jayco Tamworth Country Music Festival debrief is also an opportunity to hear more about next year’s celebrations. It is the public’s chance to express what they would like to see, or hear, at the 2013 event. The 2013 Tamworth Country Music Festival will once again run for 10 days, from 18 - 27 January.
The Community Debrief is open to all who wish to attend, and to be a part building a secure and sustainable future for our region.
