Tamworth Regional Council’s Local Government Week 2012 events will be held 13 – 17 August.
To celebrate the 2012 theme of Local Knowledge, Local Services, Local Communities, TRC will be hosting events at five locations around the region to promote TRC services and facilities.
The following activities will be taking place:
Monday 13 August, 10am to 12pm
Members of the Barraba Community and surrounds are invited to come to the Barraba Mall to meet Council Staff and Councillors and learn more about Council’s services offered locally. A free morning tea and information stalls will be available from 10am.
Tuesday 14 August, 10am to 12pm
Members of the Manilla Community and surrounds are invited to come to Pioneer Park to meet Council Staff and Councillors and learn more about Council’s services offered locally. A free morning tea and information stalls will be available from 10am.
Wednesday 15 August, 10am to 12pm
Members of the Nundle Community and surrounds are invited to come to the Nundle Courthouse Museum grounds to meet Council Staff and Councillors and learn more about Council’s services offered locally. A free morning tea and information stalls will be available from 10am.
Thursday 16 August, 10am to 12pm
Members of the Moonbi Community and surrounds are invited to come to the Moonbi Museum at Chook Park to meet Council Staff and Councillors and learn more about Council’s services offered locally. A free morning tea and information stalls will be available from 10am.
Friday 17 August, 10am to 12pm
Members of the Tamworth Community and surrounds are invited to come to the Ray Walsh House Forecourt on Peel Street to meet Council Staff and Councillors and learn more about Council’s services offered locally. A free BBQ and information stalls will be available from 10am.
