The 2009 Economic Performance Report presents an assessment of the Tamworth regional economy for the 2007 to 2009 period, outlining how it has performed according to various indicators over that period.
The report found the region’s population growth accelerated in 2009 to +1.9% pa, which is above the average rate in regional New South Wales (NSW) of +1.3% pa. Since 2001, Tamworth’s population has increased by some 4,200 persons, thus contributing to local demand and employment opportunities.
The report provides an interesting and relevant reference source for potential investors, developers, business people and interested members of the public.
