Section 603 Certificates
The purchaser, solicitor or real estate agent can apply for a Section 603 Certificate when purchasing a property. The certificate states the amount (if any) due or payable to Council, by way of rates, water, charges or otherwise, in respect of a parcel of land.
Section 603 Certificates – Fees
A statutory fee is payable for each Section 603 certificate. GST is not applicable. An additional Urgency Fee is payable for urgent Section 603 Certificates, which are provided 24 hours from the date of receipt of application and payment.
Section 603 Certificates – Processing Time and Ordering
The usual processing time for a Section 603 Certificate is three working days from the date of receipt of application and payment. The certificate may be ordered through the mail, or over the counter at a Council Customer Service Centre. Requests for Section 603 Certificates can be made using the Section 603 Certificate Application Form.
Special Water Meter Reading
Solicitors, real estate agents and members of the public may make an application for a special water meter reading.
Special Water Meter Reading – Fees
