The Infrastructure Planning division of Tamworth Regional Council is seeking the services of an individual experienced in the construction, maintenance or management of civil infrastructure.
The Asset Surveillance Officer will work closely with the Asset Management Officers in gathering data on all of Council’s roads, drainage, bridges and associated assets. You will be responsible for inspecting Councils existing and new assets and collecting and entering that data into Council’s Asset Register.
Well developed communication skills and the ability to negotiate with staff and members of the public and also cooperate and work within a team are essential.
The applicant should possess qualifications relevant to the position. A Class C Drivers Licence is essential and experience working with specialist computer software packages would be desirable.

This position has been classified as Grade 9 within Council’s Salary System with a salary range of $851.00 to $920.90 for 35 hours work per week. Tamworth Regional Council offers a range of employee benefits to successful applicants.
