State Emergency Services within the Tamworth Region
The State Emergency Service (SES) undertakes essential community services work during times of flood, storm and other emergencies. The volunteers of the service go out in all types of weather to assist with rescues of flood victims, repair roofs during storms and generally assist residents weatherproof their homes in times of need.
Council supports the SES by providing housing for their emergency equipment and by assisting the service during emergencies.
