Tamworth Regional Council has a large regional mapping library that includes locality maps, service diagrams and street maps. In 2008, Council added the first ever customised digital imagery of the region with high resolution pictures of the major populated areas that cover about 1,150 of the 9,650 square kilometres of the region.

Street maps that also show cycleways are available for 14 of the towns and villages across the region. A map of the region shows where to find these localities.

A range of Council maps, including service diagrams and aerial images are available for purchase. The new imagery provides high quality 10cm pixel resolution of Tamworth city within about 5km of the CBD. There are also 20cm pixel images of outlying areas to Manilla, Barraba and Nundle, including Attunga village, Kootingal and Moonbi townships, Kingswood, Daruka, Moore Creek and Piallamore. The imagery is available in hard copy colour on gloss and bond paper and also as soft copy on disc or in electronic formats.
