Council is currently working on the development of the Tamworth Regional Youth Strategy.
The strategy will provide opportunities for local government and young people to work together on ideas and innovative solutions to problems affecting young people.
It is hoped the community consultation will shine a light on ways to better support young people on a range of issues including health and well-being, engagement in education and training, community involvement and employment opportunities. The consultation is also expected to provide innovative suggestions for new activities and facilities to improve the region.
Council is seeking feedback from young people aged 12-25 to have their say on issues affecting them across the region.
This engagement will inform the actions and priorities for a new Strategy for youth in the local government area.
