What is a Community Development Committee?

A Community Development Committee (CDC) is a Section 355 Committee that is responsible for providing Council with advice and recommendations regarding the social, economic and environmental development and growth of a particular town or locality. Council will regularly consult with a CDC when wishing to ascertain a community’s view on a particular topic.
