The Youthie is a drop-in youth centre for young people aged 12 - 18 years. The Youthie is operated by Tamworth Regional Council and provides a range of recreational facilities and activities for your child. All general activities are free of charge.
The Youthie, located in Tamworth, provides the following services to your child:
sports - arts activities
- a comprehensive school holiday program
- regular youth entertainment and music including discos and live bands
- a range of Annual Youth Week activities
- access to the Tamworth Youth Advisory Council
- three free pool tables
- two free internet computers (broadband ADSL)
- good value food and drink from our cafe
- movies on the big screen and 6 televisions

- music rehearsal/recording room – drums, guitars and PA

- graffiti wall and workshops
- youth art gallery - art project and exhibition
- DJ / VJ (music and video) workshops
- Country Music Cavalcade Float

- Xbox 360 and PS2 with lots of games
- a cool place to just hang out
