Tamworth Regional Film and Sound Archive
What the Archive provides
The Tamworth Regional Film and Sound Archive preserves our regional film and sound heritage.
Formed in 1995 as the The New England Film and Sound Archive and now The Tamworth Regional Film and Sound Archive houses about 8,000 cans and cassettes of local and regionally produced visual material and over 20,000 items on the database, plus historical audio material.
Tamworth and regional material dates back to 1916 and includes many local collections. Equipment donated by Prime TV and others enables us to play as well as copy most formats.
