The Barraba International Festival is a popular, high quality cultural event held annually in Barraba on the first weekend in November. Each year, the festival features the culture of a different country or region through live professional performances, exhibitions and other special events. The centre piece of the festival is a town parade, featuring floats and walking groups in costume followed by specially created performances by school children, local performers and guest artists.
In 2011he sights sounds and tastes of Spain will be celebrated at this year’s Barraba Festival, with most activities focused in the Main Street on Saturday 5th November. Enjoy the bustling markets, exhibitions, Spanish food stalls, and open air concerts. Highlight of the Festival will be the colourful parade, followed by an open air concert, featuring guest artists, Bandaluzia Flamenco.
