How to Book a Venue or Facility
There are more than thirty Council halls and venues across the region that are available for hire. These halls and venues range from small locally operated and managed public halls to larger Council run facilities, including the recently built Capitol Theatre. The region has over seventy listed parks and gardens of which, seven can be hired.
This is a brief summary of the requirements for booking a Council venue or facility.

Tamworth Regional Council has a huge range of venues and facilities across the region that are available for hire. These include small locally managed community halls, some of the larger gardens in the region as well as Council's major venues, including the recently built Capitol Theatre in Tamworth.

The NSW Government has introduced a simpler and fairer approval system for live entertainment. The red tape for live entertainment in venues has been cut – pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafés and other venues no longer need a special licence. This measure is designed to enliven NSW’s music scene, and allow musicians to do more of what they do best – perform. At the same time, community safety and neighbourhood amenity will continue to be protected.
