What are HACC Services
Home and Community Care (HACC) services are provided to the frail aged, people with a disability and their carers to assist them with living in the community. These services include community transport, meals, day activities, elders groups and support groups.
Tamworth Regional Council supports the following HACC services:
Barraba HACC Multi Service
Provides community transport, carer support and the Meals on Wheels services in Barraba

Moonbi Kootingal Respite Care Centre
Provide day activities and support programs for seniors & disabled people living in Kootingal/Moonbi region. This includes small groups such as the Men’s Group, Craft Groups and outings to community events. Cockburn Cottage, as it is known locally is also available for hire by community groups. Provides a range of carer support services in the region
